Nick Harris

Moved to Gloucester aged 11 and has lived here ever since. Now 44, happily married but suffering a teenage daughter, Nick has been a full time professional Illustrator since graduating with honours from the Harrow Illustration course in 1982. The past twenty years have thrown mostly book and editorial work his way. Bug WorldBook titles include Wind in the Willows, King Arthur and HIs Knights, Dragon Quest, Star Quest, Bug World and the Smarties Book Prize winning Firework Maker's Daughter (written by Philip Pullman). During that time, he has had forays into the world of animated TV advertising as well as being an integral part of the small background department for the feature film 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'. Advances in technology mean that Nick is moving more towards computer generated imagery, as the market place changes
