Gloucester Picture Theatre Started out as the Olympia Skating Rink in Brunswick Road in 1910. Half the hall became a cinema in March 1911 with 580 seats and a solid plaster screen. It ran two films a week and featured Mr Pritchard at the piano until the end of December that year when new safety regulations forced it to close. It was demolished and is now a car park. |
