Birdseye Walls, Barnwood. When this plant was built in 1960 it was the biggest ice cream factory in the world. Forty years on it is still producing many of our favourite brands and employs several hundred people.

Morelands Trading Estate, Bristol Road. Once the manufacturing base of Britain's best known matches 'England's Glory', but now converted to a trading estate for several small businesses including printing and cricket bat making.
