Reason for coming to Gloucester: "I came to Gloucester when I was 24. I came to run a pub; The Malt and Hops. The pub was very busy at the time. I must admit I was so busy I didn't leave the pub for the first six months. I made a lot of friends the majority are still my friends now. After working in pubs for so long the thought of sitting in a pub with a drink does not appeal to me!"

High point of life here: "Meeting my husband and settling down.
