Reason for coming to Gloucester: Economics. My wife got transferred down here.

High points of life here: The ability to have a place of our own. Gloucester is a place where you can still afford to do that on a relatively low income.

Discovering a new area and the history of Gloucester - I've started studying Mediaeval history by just visiting the cathedral.

Very friendly people; when we first moved here everybody came round and introduced themselves. We live behind Kingsholm rugby ground, and listening to the Kingsholm faithful every other Saturday is fascinating.
