Fred was born in Uganda. His family fled from Idi Amin's regime to Kenya. Fred's father trained as an osteopath and was subsequently granted British citizenship. The family went to live in Enniskillen in Northern Ireland where as Catholics, they learned about the troubles first hand. When Fred was three they moved to Wales where Fred was known as "Paddy". When he was eleven the family came to Gloucester where Fred was known as "Taffy"! He was educated at SirThomas Rich's. Fred is currently writing his first novel and he also produces drum and bass music. He is a student in media studies at Gloscat, has ambitions to work in the film industry as a writer and director, and is particularly interested in the theme of club culture. He feels that his multi-cultural background has given him an open mind and a unique creative perspective. |
