I came to Gloucester 30 something years ago when I married, as my husband Frank already lived and worked in the city. We lived in a flat in the city centre when we first got married then moved here to Tuffley when my first daughter was born; we took root and have lived here ever since.

Gloucester is a good place to live as it centrally located and is a good jumping off point. There are lots of different places to see and visit that surround the city. I also have my dog Libby and here in Tuffley there are lots of great places for me to take her for walks.

One of my happiest memories of living in Gloucester is one year when my daughters were quite young - five or six I think - they are both married with their own children now. We and some friends entered a float into the Gloucester carnival, the theme was a rose bowl and we came third. I still clearly remember the day, following them and the procession of floats all around the city.
