Ron Taylor

A living local legend, Ron Taylor was born in 1920. Like his father and grandfather before him he ran the famous boxing booth, which toured Great Britain and was a popular feature at Barton Fair. Ron's was the last boxing booth open on the fairgrounds in this country and he recalls the days when hungry local lads would line up for a chance to win ten shillings.
